It has been a true honor to serve as the Director of Nurses at Chestnut Point Care Center since April of 2004. Over the years the staff and I have successfully transitioned from an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) to a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and now to a quality rehabilitation center. Although we have faced many challenges along the way, we have been successful due to the teamwork, dedication, spirit and talents of the staff.

I invite any potential resident and family to tour our bed-and-breakfast style facility at any time to get a feel for the friendly, warm and enthusiastic staff and atmosphere. We are privileged to have an Administrator who has been an icon of this institution for over 40 years. Her commitment to this facility is second to none, as she takes on a genuine ownership of the residents’ quality of care and the appearance of each and every room in our facility. Together we have created a team of very special, hard working individuals who embrace the responsibility and challenges of serving our residents.

As many more changes are expected in the future of the health services industry, I am confident we will meet these challenges with the same level of quality and enthusiasm as we have in our everyday tasks.

Thank you, and I look forward to seeing you at Chestnut Point soon,

~ Rebecca Stoddard, RN
Director of Nursing Services
