Jacqueline, a Resident of Chestnut Point Care Center raised six children and enjoyed all that comes along with being a mom and raising a big family. Jacqueline states that she loved going to all of the high school basketball games along with many other activities that her children participated in. Jacqueline did secretarial work and worked in office environments. Jacqueline loves to socialize with her fellow peers at Chestnut point and always has a fun story to tell. Jacqueline has a fun and outgoing personality, and always brings a laugh and smile to those around her at Chestnut Point.

Prior to Pete Lessard's Admission to Chestnut Point Care Center, Pete was a very well trained Engineer. Pete Lessard grew up in Falls Rivers, Massachusetts with his mother and father along with his three sisters and 1 brother. Pete then went to Engineering School at the University of Massachusetts for 6 years and graduated in 1963 with his Engineering Degree. Pete was very fortunate and he was able to travel and see different parts of the Country due to his degree. Pete moved to Virginia for one year and worked as an Engineering Aid. While he was living in Virginia, he had the chance to go to work for General Electric, and worked at G.E. there, and in Massachusetts as well. After having worked for General Electric, Pete then moved to Connecticut and did some electronic technician work in the Central area of Connecticut. Pete has now been residing in Connecticut for forty years. Pete is a very caring and kind hearted man and you can always find him with a book in his hand or striking up a conversation with staff and fellow residents about the Red Sox or Patriots.

Ruth Brandyberrry, a Resident of Chestnut Point has always had a great love and devotion for teaching. Ruth lived in Poland, Ohio with her husband and two children. Ruth is very well educated and attended the University of Akron in Akron, Ohio from 1973-1975 where she did Post Graduate work. Ruth then went to visit many classrooms around the world including Great Britain, France, Switzerland, Germany and the Netherlands. Ruth also attended the University of Hawaii, Westminster College in New Willimington, PA and Youngstown College in Youngstown, Ohio. Ruth used all of her knowledge gained throughout her college experiences and became a Principal at an Elementary School in Poland, Ohio. Ruth also became a part time Instructor at Youngstown State University where she taught Reading and Language Arts, and conducted Student Teaching Seminars. Ruth was then very fortunate to hold many Workshops and Major Presentations all over the world. In May of 1968 Ruth won the, "Educator of the Year" Award at the Poland Education Association. Ruth also was a part of the "Annie Webb Blanton Scholarship" at the University of Hawaii. Ruth is a great scholar and leader as well as a great grandmother and friend to many of those around her. Ruth has a beautiful smile on her face and will always say a friendly hello to anyone that comes her way.
